How can I apply for a place at Edge Grove Nursery?
Children may join the Edge Grove Nursery at the start of term (September, January or April) when they have turned 3.
There are 40 spaces to fill in our Nursery for each academic year – the biggest intake of children into one year group at Edge Grove. Click here for more information about Edge Grove Nursery.
Stage 1
Contact our Admissions Department for an initial conversation and to add your child’s details to our list for Nursery entry.
Step 2
Arrange to visit Edge Grove to tour the School. You can visit at our Open Mornings or alternatively we offer private tours. You can book these tours with the Admissions Department in advance, so please contact us by emailing admissions@edgegrove.com or calling 01923 855724.
Step 3
Following your visit, you will need to register your child for a place at Edge Grove. You can download the registration form below and post it or email it to Admissions. The non-refundable £100 registration fee can be paid via bank transfer and the details are on the Registration Form.
Step 4
Once registered, we will invite your child to attend a low-key assessment to help us determine if Edge Grove Nursery, and after that Reception at Edge Grove, is the right setting for your child. During a short visit to our Nursery, your child will spend time with our current Nursery pupils, and our experienced Early Years staff will gently assess them against age-appropriate goals.
Our next assessments for September 2024 entry will take place in January and March 2024. Contact Admissions to sign your child up for one of these dates.
Depending on your child’s date of birth, it is also possible to join our Nursery in January and April, and possibly at other times of the year.
Please note that Edge Grove does not participate in the government’s free early education scheme.
