Music Gala for Peace Hospice

We were delighted to host our very own black tie charity gala concert for almost 200 guests in aid of Peace Hospice on a scale never previously attempted.

More than half of our pupils gave incredible musical performances including some very passionate choir singing, to some exciting ensembles, soloists and a live jazz band act.

Performing to a very high standard, the pupils impressed and delighted the audience with their exceptional talent and musical ability.  A true creative arts faculty event, the evening included advanced drama performances that were proudly projected onto a large screen along with a gallery of art work displaying pupils’ individual creative pieces.

Featuring more than a quarter of the school’s pupils, the event was a resounding success raising a fantastic £4,500 for Peace Hospice Care.

Declan Carroll, CEO of Peace Hospice Care commented: “Edge Grove school put on a truly fantastic music gala in aid of Peace Hospice Care.  It was a really tremendous evening and the children were all so talented. Everyone pulled out all the stops and for that we are so very grateful.”

Ensembles performing were: Chamber Choir, Lower School Choir, Wind Ensemble, Advanced Wind Ensemble, String Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Rock Band, Vox 15 and Jazz Band.

We thank the many parents and local businesses who supported the event from attending on the evening to donating raffle prizes and delicious food, decorations and refreshments.
