Children may be registered for entry into Hart House (normally for September) from the age of 3yrs (Nursery) or 4 yrs (Reception). The entry procedure involves a “relaxed assessment” and parental interview.

Entrance to the Lower School at Edge Grove (normally for September) is at age 7 yrs (Year 3). It is assumed that pupils will automatically transfer from Hart House unless it is felt that a child cannot manage the extended curriculum that is taught at Edge Grove.

There are occasional vacancies into other year groups.  Children are invited to attend a ‘taster day’ after which an offer may be made. Edge Grove also asks the child’s previous school for a progress report.
