The whole school is divided into four areas:

Pre-Prep (Nursery - Year 2) for children aged 3+ to 7+.

| Edge Grove: |
Junior School (Years 3 and 4) for children aged 7+ to 9+.
Middle School (Years 5 and 6) for children aged 9+ to 11+.
Senior School (Years 7 and 8) for children aged 11+ to 13+. |
Forms are academically streamed in the Middle and Senior School. Classes are fully co-educational throughout Hart House and Edge Grove.
In the Prep School (Years 3-8), there are an average of 40 pupils per year group and the classes are streamed from Year 5 upwards so that children can work most effectively towards their own targets of Scholarship or Common Entrance.
The most able pupils will be stretched according to their abilities whilst there is a level of learning support available for children who find their work more challenging.
