In 2017 Edge Grove announced its ambitious 10 Year Development Plan which includes plans to significantly improve the teaching and learning facilities for the Lower School (years 3 and 4) and in October 2018 building work started on the new Lower School building.  Governors, architects and designers have worked collaboratively to design an exceptional facility that will allow pupils to flourish in a creative and inspirational learning environment. The cost of the project has been estimated at £3.6 million and as Edge Grove is a non-profit making charitable organisation which invests any surplus back into the school, careful financial planning over the last few years has enabled the school to make suitable provision to fund the majority of the costs of this project. However, philanthropy plays a huge part in making a vision become reality and the School is seeking the financial support of former pupils, current parents and friends of the School to be able to deliver the final elements of the build project by means of donations.  The School will be delighted to recognise generosity of all gifts through a variety of means and all donors will be invited to the Official Grand opening of the Building in Autumn 2019.

There are several ways in which people can support this project and leave their mark at Edge Grove including sponsoring a paver. The outdoor classroom of the new Lower School will be marked out with wooden benches enclosing an area of York Stone pavers on the ground. These beautiful pavers can be sponsored and personalised with a named inscription and offer a way of leaving a legacy that will last for many years to come whilst cementing a connection to Edge Grove. The pavers will be available in various sizes reflecting the different levels of donation, with the inscription being sandblasted and hand painted into the stone. Anyone wishing to sponsor a paver should email development@edgegrove.com for more information.
