Aladdin Trouble – Thoughts and Reflections from another Edge Grove Show Week

Justine Saville – Director of Drama

What an exhilarating week it has been at Edge Grove! The curtains have closed on yet another successful production, leaving me with a huge sense of pride. Year 3 and Year 4 pupils have not only met but surpassed my (high!) expectations, whilst showcasing themselves on the stage.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every pupil for their exceptional execution of their roles. The success of the show is a testament to effort invested throughout the rehearsal process mastering intricate melodies, memorising extensive dialogue, and delivering comedic lines with precision. Pupils’ embraced the core Edge Grove values—Passion, Dedication, Confidence, Creativity, Unity, and Responsibility—contributing significantly to the overall success of the production.

Special commendation goes to the Year 3 chorus, whose sensational energy added an extra layer of energy to the overall production.

Here’s to more exciting productions and achievements in the terms to come!… Oh wait, we have Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Nativities next week!
