Notice requirements

Notice of withdrawal from the School

Once a place for a pupil has been accepted or the pupil has entered the School, a Term’s Notice must be given before a pupil is withdrawn from the School having once been accepted for entry or a Term’s Fees in lieu will be due.

Terms and Conditions

Payment of Fees

Basic Fees (i.e. for tuition) and insurance are payable in advance whilst ‘Extras’ are generally charged in arrears. It is a basic condition of attendance at the school that Fees are payable on or before the first day of each term in accordance with Edge Grove Terms & Conditions and that, except for parents with non UK addresses, the School holds a valid Direct Debit instruction for fee collection at all times. The school reserves the right to impose a surcharge on missed or late payments, comprising simple interest calculated on a daily basis at a rate fixed at 5% above the Bank of England Base Rate in accordance with Edge Grove Terms & Conditions Clause 4.

Payment Methods:

Fees are payable in advance on a termly basis to be collected by direct debit unless, for overseas based parents only, alternative arrangements are agreed in writing with the Bursary and all parents to the School are required to complete and return a valid direct debit mandate. Parents who prefer to settle fees on a monthly basis may use the 9 month instalment scheme operated on an interest free basis by the School; further details are available from the Fees Office.

We are also able to accept payment by Debit (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro only) cards. Following changes (January 2018) in the UK Banking regulations, we are no longer able to accept credit card payments for amounts above £16.00.

Childcare Vouchers:

See below for information about the use of childcare vouchers:

Making payments to Edge Grove

Where parents have an agreement that fees may be settled by bank transfer or to make payment for other items, payments may be sent by internet banking (using child’s name as a reference) to:

Barclays Bank
Account Name: Edge Grove School Trust Ltd
Account number: 00355097
Sort Code: 20-05-03
IBAN: GB32 BARC 2005 0300 3550 97

Advance Fee Payment

The School offers an incentive for parents wishing to settle at least three terms fees in advance at any one time.

The principle is that a family member, or someone else with the consent of the parents, may make an advance payment of fees by depositing a lump sum in the general funds of the School at any time after registration for entry has been made with the School and the registration fee has been accepted. In exchange for the Advance Payment, the School allows a discount in the fees.

Click on the documents below for full details of the scheme or contact the Bursar for a quotation.
