The person appointed will work well in a team and show initiative when working with colleagues and pupils.

Our pupils perform in many concerts and our instrumentalists and choirs regularly perform at School events and to external audiences.  We have a significant number of pupils who learn to play an instrument with our peripatetic music teachers. The Head of Music is a high profile and key role within Edge Grove, actively promoting the music department within the School community and encouraging pupils’ interest in music as well as promoting the wider profile of the School. The Department makes a positive contribution to the marketing of the School and is an integral part of events such as Speech Day and Remembrance Day Services.

EYFS Teacher and EYFS Co-ordinator

Edge Grove Pre School and Pre Prep have a strong reputation for excellence in the local community.  We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Early Years practitioner with a strong understanding of the importance of early education to lead this area of the School through its next phase of development.  The successful candidate will be responsible for working with and supporting the Head of Pre Prep and Deputy Head (Academic) in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment in Nursery and Reception. They will work closely with Year 1 teachers to ensure a smooth transition to KS1 and they will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to play a pivotal role in the development of the Early Years in Edge Grove.

PE and Games Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and energetic teacher of PE and Games as part of an excellent whole School Sports Department.  This is a full-time role and the ability and experience to teach a number of sports across all ages is essential.  The successful candidate will support the Director of Sport and Head of Games and PE in the delivery of sport across the whole School.  You will be required to work collaboratively with a small, but dedicated team of sports teachers to ensure that excellence is achieved in the curriculum.  You will be passionate about fostering a sporting ability in all children so that they can all take part in Sport, both competitive and non-competitive.

Music Teacher – Part Time
