We are looking for an inspirational and energetic practitioner of Modern Foreign Languages.  Candidates should be fluent in French with the ability to offer at least one further language.  The successful candidate will be either primary or secondary trained with an appropriate degree and a teaching qualification and be able to teach in KS2, KS3 and up to Scholarship level.  The post is offered on a full-time basis.

Classics Teacher (Re-advert)

Learning Assistant in Pre Prep

We are seeking an outstanding HLTA able to enthuse and inspire our pupils and looking for a new challenge.  Or you may be a teacher looking for an opportunity to enjoy a teaching role without the full responsibility of a class.  The role is initially based in Year 2 for team teaching but may be allocated across any of the Pre Prep year groups.

Head of English

We are looking for an inspirational and energetic practitioner to be responsible for all aspects of English across the whole School.  The successful candidate will be either primary or secondary trained with an appropriate degree and a teaching qualification and able to teach up to Year 8 including Scholarship level.  The post is offered on a full-time basis and therefore the ability to teach another subject including games/PE would be desirable.

Following the appointment of our current Head, Ben Evans, to Windlesham School in Sussex after 8 years of outstanding service, we are very pleased to welcome Lisa McDonald as our new Head from September 2020.  Lisa is currently Deputy Head of the British International School in New York which is a sister school to Abercorn School in central London and educates over 300 pupils from the age of three to sixteen. It teaches the English National Curriculum within the framework of the International Baccalaureate and serves a culturally diverse student population. Pupils go on to the top schools in New York with a number returning to boarding schools in the UK, both processes that Lisa is closely involved with.
